Chicken egg rolls

Chicken egg rolls 

Ingredients:

1b ground chicken 

1 tsp fresh minced ginger

2 tsp fresh minced garlic 

2 cups shredded cabbage 

3/4 cup shredded cabbage 

1 package egg roll wraps 

Salt + pepper to taste 

4 tbs canola oil 

Directions:

1. Heat 1 tsp of oil in skillet or wok. Add ground chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Break chicken into pieces, cooking it throughly. 

2. Add garlic, ginger, and green onions. Cook until fragrant. 

3. Add cabbage and carrots. Cook until vegetables are soft. Set mixture aside 

4. Lay out egg roll wraps.

5. Add two tsp of mixture into center of the wrap. Fold corners and tuck in mixture. ( create an envelope)

6. Roll egg roll and seal with a tiny bit of water from your finger tips.

7. Heat wok or skillet with 3 tbs of oil. Drop in your egg rolls in groups ( 4 at a time) 

8. Cook egg rolls u til golden brown on both sides 

9. Dip in your sweet and sour sauce

For the sweet and sour sauce: 

3/4 cup granulated sugar 

3 tbs ketchup 

1 tsp garlic powder 

1/2 cup red wine vinegar 

2 tbs soy sauce 

1 tsp of sesame seeds 

Directions:

1. Mix together sugar, ketchup, garlic powder, red wine vinegar, and soy

2. Add sesame seeds
