Roast Beef

Roast beef  

Ingredients:

3 lbs round eye beef 

1/3 cup Worcestershire 

1 stick of butter 

2 tbs Lawry’s seasoning salt 

1 tbs oregano 

1 tsp ground pepper 

1 tbs paprika 

1 tsp kosher salt 

1 tsp roast beef base 

3/4 cup water 

Directions: 

  1. Place beef in roasting pan. Season with salt, pepper, Lawry’s seasoning salt, oregano, and paprika. Season generously and on the bottom of beef as well. 

Tip: Let beef sit out for 30minutes from refrigerator before baking 

  1. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes ( for a 3 lb roast) 

  2. Take roast out of the oven. Turn off the oven. 

  3. Mix 1 tsp of roast beef paste with 3/4 cup of water. Pour into pan with roast. 

  4. Melt one stick of butter. Add 1/3 cup of Worcestershire. Pour over the top of the roast.

  5. Bake at 250 degrees for 75 minutes 

  6. Let roast rest before slicing thin.

  7. Serve with potatoes or on a sandwich roll.
