Bacon cheddar sliders

Bacon cheddar sliders 

Ingredients 

1 lb ground beef 

6 slices bacon 

1/4 sweet onion minced

1 small clove of garlic  

1/2 tsp Tony’s creole seasoning 

1/2 tsp kosher salt 

1/4 tsp cracked pepper 

3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese 

12 slider buns 

3 tbs butter 

Bbq sauce of choice for dipping 

Directions:

  1. Place bacon on baking sheet and cook at 375 for 20-23 minutes ( until crispy)

  2. Mince onion 1/4 cup

  3. Mince garlic 

  4. Heat skillet with a 1 tsp of olive oil 

  5. Sauté onion and garlic 1-2 minutes 

  6. Add ground beef. Season meat with Tony’s creole seasoning. Salt and pepper to taste 

  7. Cook beef until brown. Drain and set aside. 

  8. Chop up your bacon 

  9. Grate your cheese 

  10. Prep bread loaf by slicing longways for top and bottom bun 

  11. Spray bottom of 9x13 inch pan with avocado oil

  12. Place bottom buns down first. Add meat, bacon, and top with cheese. Place top bun on.

  13. Melt butter. Pour on top of buns. 

  14. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes ( until cheese is melty and buns are golden brown on top ) 

  15. Dip sliders into bbq sauce for a nice pairing
